Has anyone had Vivaer procedure? I'm concerned about Empty Nose Syndrome but my doctor claims that only occurs with removing or shrinking turbinates. Doesn't the vivaer procedure also affect turbinates?

I have nodular MAC, which so far I have been able to treat with nebulizing and a Vest. However, in recent months, I have had bouts of hemoptysis. Husband 77 had Ablation, Cardioversion, Amoiderone. Saw EP today, says husband still in Afib with flutters. I learned that Afibs can cause Left Atrial Enlargement (LAE) and LAE can cause Afib. EP follow up visit is in 6 wks after full 3 mths blanking period. I’m very concerned now that nothing can help my husband.

There is no real science. The ice packs will prevent neuropathy. There just isn't any studies that would support the use of ice on hands and feet.
