Borjana Krišto (née Krželj; [1] born 13 August 1961) is a Bosnian Croat politician serving as Chairwoman of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina since January 2023.

In the General Elections in Bosnia and Herzegovina in October 2022, she was elected to the position of the Serb member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

In the 2022 general election, Cvijanović was elected as the Serb member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, becoming the first female member of the Presidency since the end of the Bosnian War. She was sworn in as Presidency member in November 2022.

Borjana Krišto, Chairwoman of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina, holds a degree in law. She previously has served as Member of the House of Representatives, Speaker of the House of Representatives as well as Deputy Speaker.

President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan has sent a message of congratulations to Željka Cvijanović, Chairwoman of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, on the occasion of her country's Independence Day.

In the 2022 general election, Cvijanović was elected as the Serb member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, becoming the first female member of the Presidency since the end of the Bosnian War.

Željka Cvijanović, the Serbian member of Bosnia and Herzegovina’s Presidency, has officially assumed the role of Chair of the Presidency. In accordance with the rotating system, Cvijanović will serve as Chair for the next eight months, as announced by the Presidency.

The Chairperson of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Željka Cvijanović, after today’s meeting in Brussels with Mark Rutte, NATO Secretary General, stressed that cooperation should be strengthened in the future.

The chairman of the Council of Ministers is nominated by the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and appointed by the House of Representatives of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
